On 14 October 2025, Research Day was held at Tara the H. Moross Hospital, where the privilege of presenting part of her study, Online Training in Caring Presence. Sharing this innovative research with such a passionate and compassionate team of mental health professionals was both inspiring and humbling.
Following her presentation, hospital management extended a wonderful invitation for Dr. Oukouomi Noutchie’s innovative research to become part of the hospital’s ongoing staff development. She was invited to join the training team to provide regular in-service sessions for nurses on caring presence - an opportunity she accepted with great pleasure. This collaboration marks an exciting step toward integrating presence-based care more deeply into the hospital’s professional practice.
Tara the H. Moross Hospital continues to distinguish itself as a leader in compassionate, patient-centered mental healthcare. Guided by a strong commitment to quality care, good governance, and a people-first approach, the hospital provides an environment where presence, empathy, and professional excellence can truly flourish.
It was an honour to contribute to this meaningful journey - a reminder that caring presence begins with being fully present for those who heal, and those who care.
